You need to know how to promote your business. You don't need a degree but you need to know what options you have to promote your work at home business. They have been at it for awhile and are hopefully earning a decent income from it.

The next point I want to make is about your expectations. Don't go into your home business all dreamy eyed thinking the money is just going to flow to you now that you have a soho business. It does take hard work, it does take time and focused effort but the rewards out way the struggles if you stick with it.

The last thing I want to bring up is the people you surround your self with. Believe it or not, not everyone in your life wants you to succeed. They may not even realize they are being negative but sometimes even those closest too you may not offer support. You have to realize this and rise above it.
